At our ladies craft night we did Autumn tea towel painting and made all kinds of designs. From leaves to flowers, toadstools to pumpkins there was a wide variety of colourful creativity on display! 🌿 🍁 🍃 🍄
At Our Church away day we went to Hetton Church in the Yorkshire Dales and enjoyed a day of activities including a walk, games, bible teaching, praise and testimonies. We enjoyed a time of fellowship with one another and taking in the lovely scenery. We had a tasty fish and chip lunch too.
At our mission weekend we held a number of events for all ages and welcomed guest speaker Jake Hinton to share a short christian message. We held a family quiz night and a mens breakfast and welcomed a number of guests who shared their testimonies and how Jesus changed their lives.
At our guest service today we enjoyed seeing how Vinny Commons makes pottery. Vinny came to demonstrate his potters wheel and used it to explain how Jesus has shaped and changed his life.
At our ladies wreath making night we enjoyed creating beautiful floral arrangements with an array of spring flowers, foliage and easter decorations. Thanks to our florist Bev for demonstrating and teaching us how to create the wreaths.
We enjoyed a fun quiz night and tasty pie and peas supper, followed by a short gospel message. Thanks to John for being our quizmaster!
Tonight was our Christmas carol service and we enjoyed singing some carols, listening to Bible readings and heard a short talk from Tom about where we can find the greatest gift of all. We also enjoyed hearing the Explorers children’s choir sing some Christmas songs to us!
Tonight was our Church Christmas Dinner. We had a traditional roast dinner with all the trimmings followed by chocolate cake and Christmas pudding. 😋 Our pastor, Paul gave a short talk about how Jesus is the true meaning of Christmas. Thanks to everyone who helped cook, serve and set up/clear away.
Tonight was our Christmas praise night. We sang some traditional Christmas carols and some modern songs that celebrated God sending us his son Jesus, the greatest gift of all. We also heard David sing a Christmas carol in telegu and learnt about how Christmas is celebrated in India.
Tonight was our ladies Christmas craft night! We enjoyed all sorts of crafts and were kept busy making Christmas wreaths, paper stars and gift boxes. Our in house barista served fancy hot drinks, and we enjoyed tasty festive treats too!
