We had outdoor socially distanced Christmas Carols in the car park of our new building. It was a reminder that Jesus is the reason for Christmas and we spent some time focusing on this.
Here are some updates and from the events and activities we have held.
Work is progressing on our new building. Paint is going up on the walls, electrics have been installed and we are excited to see things coming together. A big thank you to everyone who has given time, money, resources and skills to help our building Project. We still have a lot more work to do, but look forwards to the day we can move in.
On New Years Day we had our Church Walk at Yorkshire Sculpture Park followed by lunch. Hope Church wishes everyone a Happy New Year.
We had a great time at our Community Carol Service. We enjoyed singing some upbeat songs, musical performances, bible readings and we even had a giant present to unwrap to remind us of the very best gift of all - Jesus! Thanks to everyone who contributed their time, energy, and talents into helping run the carol service.
This Christmas we have filled shoeboxes with gifts for Children. Samaritans Purse are sending them out all over the world to show Gods love to children this Christmas time. Thank you so much to everyone who has filled a shoebox and helped out with this great cause.
We held our first Coffee Morning this week. We enjoyed coffee, cakes and a catch up.
At our Ladies Easter Craft Night we made flower arrangements, decorated plates and iced biscuits. There were some beautiful creations and we hope everyone who came enjoyed the evening.
